Common Samsung Dishwasher Problems
- Dishwasher not draining. Samsung says to first clear the sink drain and garbage disposal (removing the disposal cap on a new disposal), then check the drain hose for kinks, crushing and an air gap or high loop. Source: Samsung US - Samsung dishwasher is not draining
- Dishwasher not cleaning. Check first for power loss, an error code or blinking lights, then confirm detergent is dispensing and dissolving. Source: Samsung US - Dishwasher cycle ends before dishes are clean
- Dishwasher not drying. Use rinse aid, open the door slightly after the cycle (AutoRelease models do this automatically) and confirm hot water at 120 to 149°F. Source: Samsung US - Samsung dishwasher does not dry dishes
- Dishwasher leaking. Confirm it is a real leak by wiping up and running a new cycle, then turn off power and inspect the water supply hose, drain hose connection and door seal. Source: Samsung US - Samsung dishwasher is leaking or has a leakage error code
