Hiring a Dishwasher Technician in Massachusetts
Massachusetts does not issue a separate appliance repair license; running fuel gas piping to appliances and installing their vent piping is gas fitting work that requires a license from the Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters. In Massachusetts, you can check a license with the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure eLIPSE license verification portal or report a problem to the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Consumer Advocacy and Response Division.
