Local Notes for Destin
Most dishwasher calls in Destin come down to the same handful of parts: the filter and drain path, the drain pump, the inlet valve, the door latch and the heating parts.
Florida's construction licensing guidance says that paid work such as installing a dishwasher connected to drinking water or replacing a water heater requires a licensed contractor, and that a local business tax receipt or certificate of competency may also apply; it does not describe a separate state appliance repair license. Source: DBPR License Requirements and Exemptions (Construction Industry Licensing Board), posted by Columbia County
In Florida, you can check a license with the DBPR Verify a License (MyFloridaLicense.com) or report a problem to the Florida Attorney General, Office of Citizen Services / Consumer Protection.
